Preparing For Baptism Class

October 26 - November 9  |  8:30-9:30 AM on Oct. 26th, Nov. 2nd, and Nov 9th | Downstairs @ Renovation Church

118 Josephine Street, Syracuse, NY 13212, USA

Baptism is an ordinance of the New Testament, ordained by Jesus Christ. To those baptized, it is a sign of their fellowship with Him in His death and resurrection, of their being grafted into Him, of remission of sins, and of submitting themselves to God through Jesus Christ to live and walk in newness of life.

Those who personally profess repentance toward God and faith in and obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ have the privilege to participate in this ordinance. The outward element to be used in this ordinance is water, in which the individual is to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Peter 3:18-22; Acts 2:37-41)
